In July, heavy rains shattered records as disastrous flash floods swept through Eastern Kentucky leaving a path of devastation across 13 counties.

Entire homes and parts of some communities were swept away by flood waters. Flood-ravaged communities were left searching for loved ones and on the path to the monumental task of cleaning up and rebuilding.
